FabriCAM Software P51 Rounded Rectangle Combo (Part 23) Step by Step Video Tutorial

This time we will be looking at two Rectangle combination where we will be adding a rounding.

When it comes to the P51 shape we will be going a bit more advanced when it comes to the cut outs layout.

Yes. Alright, guys, In today's video, we're gonna be looking at part number 51 this will be from our advanced flat parts. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. Mm. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za z. We make sure needed to watch problem solving videos and we also have daily updates otherwise, back into the programme. Yeah. Now, in today's video, we're gonna be looking at once again to rectangle cutouts or should I say to rectangle combo? So it's gonna be pretty much a shape we'll just looked at. But this time we're gonna be rounding the rectangle and doing a rectangle cut out. So if I go here too flat part, we go to our p 51 we can see this little preview looks quite complex compared to the previous one. But in many ways it is exactly the same thing. But with two key differences, which will be, um, we can set rounding for the corners. You can see that. So if we can look, we've got still classic A and B which will sit there within height. Then what we can do is for the actual insight Cut out away with circle. We just had a D for diameter and now we're gonna be having a d n a C because obviously we can set the width and the height because it's also rectangle. Then we've got the, uh, v y and V X, which will be the location of the rectangle cut out from the centre of the cut out. So keep that in mind, and then we have our one or two. We should be setting the rounding for the outside corners and the rounding for the inside corners or the inside shapes corners. So, yeah, let's jump into it and, uh, set a few settings and something. I think it's gonna get a square for the outside and then I want to do something different, rectangles the inside. So let's go 200 by 200. So you have that and then I'm gonna set the rectangle insights along just while we're on the topic. So we will be looking for E and C or C and D. Here we go. I'm gonna make this 1 100. So this will be the with C and then make this one about 50 for the height, then Next thing, what I wanna do is I want to reset the rounding for the corners. So I'm gonna go opposite to what they did. I'm gonna make the outside rounding a little bit larger than the insight. So let's make this about 50 and they set the inside rounding are to about 20. Then the last thing left, this was to set the X and Y for this inside shape. So let's start with the ex of Vieques. Let's just look at what we have. So we've got a with just see of 100 and our outside with Yes, 200. So let's make this one centred. I'm gonna go to X, so we wanna make this 100 and then I wanna lift this shape a little bit higher than normal. So that will be ry now, keeping in mind that this is to the centre of the shape so r d over here is 50. So we've got 25 play on top. So if I had to now go. We've got 200. So let's set this one, maybe two about, uh let me see if I go one 15. We might have a nice space on top, but not too much. There we go. It's maybe a bit rounded for my liking because it takes away the idea of the rectangles. But it gives you a kind of a modern icon. Feel if you had to look at it so I'm gonna say, uh, manual controls one at this. And then we add this shape to our actual cutting plane.
