All right, you guys, in today's video, we're gonna be looking at the configuration option to allow open contours, and this will be for the import tab. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. And we make short and easy to watch problem solving videos. And we also have daily updates. Otherwise, we head into the programme here. Now, In the previous video, we looked at importing art parts. So now we're gonna be looking at importing open contours where if we do the art part, you'll see it automatically enables it. So I'm gonna go to configuration quick and then from these two options on top, you'll see by default that I allow import open cones off as soon as I enable art parts. It will enable it for us. But I'm just gonna leave that off. And I only put on this one manually. Well, let's leave it off now. So we see the difference. I say apply. OK, so now let's say we've got a shape that has a open contour. Perhaps you made it in another programme. So let's say, like, Yeah, I've got this, um, shape here in inks capped. And as you can see at the bottom top here Ah, bottom top top left. Here we've got a contour that doesn't close. So it's just a rectangle, and then it doesn't close there. So then what you can do is, um if you export that as AD x f file and we head to the programme, we can actually import it. So if we go open file, I'm going to select it open contour. As we see, we got open contour. But keep in mind at the moment our open contour option is not enabled. So if I had to go select, we've got our contour here. It shows us say one and say add, it will give us this error where it says, um, a closed contour not found, and then it give us a location. So then we can simply then go to configuration, go to allow import open contours, say apply OK, and then I want to go back now to open file, select that same file and say, um, open it. We're gonna add another menu to add, and this time you can see, it adds it for us with the even though it had a con, uh, open contour. So if you have a file and you get that same error where it doesn't want to import it because there was open contour, you can simply do that. You say add or go to configuration, make sure it is selected, and then you can add it. I'm gonna switch it off again, as I don't need it after that. But yeah, otherwise, that is it. On allowing, um, open contours for import. If, uh, we head you to softwaretraining.co.za. You guys will notice we've got a variety of different Softwares we do cover, and you can also isolate your search on the top or right. If you do not, however, find the training videos you're looking for, just simply go. Yeah, request a training video, uh, fill in the mini form, and then we'll do our best to try and make that for you. But otherwise thanks, guys, for watching and cheers
