fabricam delete cam contours

Now when it comes to the CAM feature, the default settings is in most cases are setup well enough.

There are however times that you might be looking for something very specific, then changing these settings will come in very handy.

This video is part of a Mini-Series.
Next video covers Contours Internal vs External.

Alright, guys, In today's video, we're gonna be looking at deleting contours from your camp shapes or parts, and this will be for fabric camp. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. Mm. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. We make sure we needed to watch problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates. Otherwise, we're into the programme here. So now in today's video, like I mentioned, we're gonna be looking at how to delete a contour. This will be the first option from our second half of the secondary toolbar. So what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna add a quick shape here. Let's make this about 200. So I'm gonna add it's when we had to. Just to be guess we need to use another one. So I'm gonna add these shapes to the actual canvas. So we've got one and then two. And what we do is if we go to our camp feature, uh, we know if something's gotta contour, we can see here. First of all, it's arrogant towards it, or a line and then the line going towards another shape so if I had to go to the N C, I'm gonna put the speed a bit lower. So about seven. And then we can see here. If we previously it draws, the first circle goes to the next one. That's pretty much indicates that it has a form of contour, that it's gonna cut. So go out of N. C there. So now what we can do is if we wanted to lead a contour, we need to select the shape. Let's go out of camera, back into it, gonna select the shape. And then if I resuming here on this n c button basically means no contour. So if I click on this with our shape selected, make sure you're the one you want to remove. Then we've got a few options we're gonna be looking at, but I'm just gonna go straight forward. This is if you want to use it off the bat, you gonna go simply to its contours. Here at the bottom, there's option delete, and you want to cheque that little cheque box. Then the contour, the leading will be greater or blacked out. Should I say and you say okay and then Now we can see this little arrow only go through the right circle. So if we go to the N C preview and then we can see it only drew the right circle left the left circle out altogether. So yeah, that's pretty convenient. Um, if we go back here, we can see we can see both circles is still there, but it's you can no longer use it. So you might use that as a form of mark or placement while you're designing. Or there's other reasons why you could do it when we're looking at your internal external, uh, contours, there will also be irrelevant. Now, let's say for some reason you want that contour back. Unfortunately, there is no quick way other than selecting your shape, at least not that I'm aware of. So you select your shape, you delete party at the bottom. Then what you wanna do is you go add the part back in again. Then if we go to cameo, we can see both shapes are back again with their contours. But yeah, otherwise, that is it. On the most simple level of the leading contours. Uh, just a quick recap. You wanna make sure you are in your cam mode. You want to select the shape you want to remove the contour of and click on the little contour button, which is the elite contour. Then under contours. You want to select the one you wanna delete, or should I say click on the delete little cheque box on the contour you want to delete some shapes will have multiple contours. Yeah, so that's why it's relevant to which ones you wanna delete. But otherwise, yeah, that is it. On the basis of the leading A Contour, we had to head here to softwaretraining.co.za z. You guys will notice we've got a variety of different Softwares We do cover, and you can also isolate. You're searching on top of right. If you do not, however, find the training videos you're looking for, just simply go. Yeah, request the training video, fill in the mini form, and then we'll do our best to try and make that for you. But otherwise thanks guys for watching and cheers
