FabriCAM Software CAD Lines Practical Exercise Two (Part 4) Step by Step Video Tutorial

fabricam cad lines exercise

In this second Practical exercise we will be making the desired out come a slight bit harder.

With that being said we still want it to be achievable, so nothing will be two complicated.

This video is part of a Mini-Series.
Next video covers Lines – Practical 3.
Previous video covered Lines – Practical 1.

All right, guys, in today's video, we're gonna be looking at another practical for the lines tool that can be found within the cat feature. And this will be for fabric camp software. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. We make sure that easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have the updates. Otherwise, if we head into the programme here now, in the previous, uh, how can I say, uh, practical? We looked at creating uh, tube shapes and filling the gap. This time we're gonna up the complex just a little bit, and we're gonna see Can you create a triangle using only your lines And the two, um, or line two points. So, uh, yeah, we're gonna leave that as a little challenge. Like I said in the challenge, you must use at least two of these tools. But there's some sort of creating a rectangle loss where we want to see if you can create trying like the previous video. You can pause here, try it out if you don't come right, and just come look and I'll show you the process afterwards so you can pause now at any time. And then I'll resume just now. Okay, So if you have not gotten right, let's quickly run through the process. So this time I'm gonna start once again with the baseline. I'm gonna make sure you click on the icon. Even if I have nothing here, click on my screen. This time I'm gonna leave my X and Y zero is my first point x and Y two that set the X to 100. And why we'll keep at zero. Say okay. And then this is my foundation. So I'll pretty much be working around this now for the next point, I'm gonna keep it on the line again, and then click this time I'm gonna leave the top two. Or should I say I'm gonna again leave the top 20? But now I'm gonna go X So this is on the X. I wanna go exactly half which we know it was 100. So it'll be 50. And then with the height, I'm gonna go around 70 just to, uh, have a bit more of a symmetrical triangle. So I'm gonna say, Okay. And then there we go. We've got our lines added now, obviously, for the next line to save time instead of having to calculate everything. Reverse. I'm just gonna go to point line, zoom in on this point, click out spot, zoom out. And then, uh, I'm zooming in. Museum out some more. Zoom in on the bottom one. Take that spot and panic. So there we go. We've got a triangle, or rather simple, very quick to create. And now I know I know means, uh, is this the way to make triangles? We have this nice little triangle tool we can use, but this is just to illustrate that you can make pretty much most of these shapes. And, like I say, most of the primitive shapes just with your line tool, which is very convenient. We're gonna do hexagons and so forth if you know the measurements. And, uh, yeah, the nice thing with something like a hexagon, for instance, you could easily just add the sidelines top lines and then join the in between, which makes the math waste more simple to quickly figure out. But yeah, otherwise that is it. On creating a triangle with practical. If we head here to softwaretraining.co.za Nazi, uh, you guys will notice We've got a variety of different Softwares we do cover. And you can also isolate your search on the top of right. If you do not, however, find the training videos you're looking for, just simply go here, request the training video, filling the form, and then we'll do our basically make that for you. But otherwise thanks guys, for watching and just
