FabriCAM Software Nest Rotating for Auto Nesting (Part 5) Step by Step Video Tutorial

fabricam auto nesting rotating

The Rotation of shapes when you are Auto Nesting them could help a great deal when trying to save resources.

When it comes to the Rotation option for the Auto Nesting feature, it will have a few sub options to choose from which we will be looking at.

All right, guys, in today's video of fabric cam, we're gonna be looking at the next rotation or rotating shapes when you're nesting them. But before that, let's have a quick intro first, so today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. We make sure it's easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates. Otherwise, we're back into the programme here now, Like I mentioned today, we're gonna be looking at rotating or nesting shapes. Now this can be very handy if, like I mentioned before, let's say your canvas is very full and you need to fit in shapes in another way. Or if you just simply want your shapes rotated in a different manner, regardless of the space that users. So now, if we head into the actual nesting feature, you guys will notice we've got this first preference, which is rotation angle at the bottom. Here currently says no angle. I'll show irritation angle, no rotation. Zoom in here so you guys can have a better view of options now from the settings on top. Here we have a few different ones. I had to move this we can see at the bottom. It says 180 degree rotation. We have a 90 degree, 45 22 degree and a one degree now something to keep in mind with it. Like the one degree which is great. This thing will rotate it just about any angle you need. So it will by itself try. Find the best angle to fit that shape in now. Obviously no rotation. We know what that does in 180 on some shapes. Like if I had to put sideways here, like on these two shapes, we won't see any difference where with the actual L shape should be flipping it to the top and turn it perhaps into a seven. So let's just have a preview. It's gonna go no rotation. So we're gonna have the canvas as it is. And then let's go 100 and eight. And now we can see like these ones look like squares or rectangles. But as you can see that it's gone from L 27, where the rest or look the same. Once we start going to just grab this thing to 90 degree now, we should have perhaps some on the side as well, so I can see it. Does it, um, in any 90 degree angle? Then we can go to 45 which over a year can We're not seeing any difference, I think, cause it's fitting it very nicely. Same opportunity. These ones should become more apparent once we fill up this canvas and there's only a certain way this shape can fit. Then these, um, different rotations will become very handy. So, points, let's say one of these girls can only fit in this in a way like, uh, not quite like Tetris, but a bit more advanced. Then it will use that, uh, or this rotation to make it fit. And as you can notice here, the lower we set their rotation longer. It takes to apply those settings or find the right shapes. So it is ultimately trying to find, as you can see, there the best shape to save space. But yeah, otherwise, just a quick recap again. So we've got the rotation. We have 180. 90 sorry. 180 90 45 22 1 rotation. And this is pretty much gonna try fit the shape in as best as it can. Based on the rotation amount. You've said it to the degree amount and this is ultimately trying to save you cutting space so you can fit more into your actual cutting, uh, plate, which is nice in the long run that will save you costs and so forth. But otherwise yeah, that is it on rotations. I'm just gonna accept you so we can sort of see it here, live on our update and obviously all of these things you can do manually. But it takes way more time. So the programme just makes sure of it for you Otherwise, before we get to the next feature Here we go here to softwaretraining.co.za z. You guys will notice we've got a variety of different Softwares we do cover, and you can also isolate your search on the top, right? If you do not, however, find the training videos you're looking forward just simply to hear request the training video, filling the uniform. And then we'll do our best to try and make that for you. But otherwise thanks, guys, for watching and cheers
