FabriCAM Software P17 Advanced Circle and Rectangle (Part 5) Step by Step Video Tutorial

When it comes to the P17 Flat Part, you might just recognize it from a Intermediate part covered before.

This time with the Flat Part we are going to up the complexity of the shape a bit by adding a cut out.

Yeah. How are you guys? In today's video? We're gonna be looking at part number 17, and this will be from our advanced flat parts. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za z. We make sure that easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates. Otherwise, back in the programme here now, we're gonna be looking at our fourth part from our advanced part lists. And, uh, yeah, this one you guys also might remember from our intermediate parts that we have covered it, but yeah, that's where your part number 17, but more advanced version. So if I had to click on part 17 years, we can see we've got five different values we can set. I'm just gonna go here to the preview so we can see we've got our A, which is our overall with of the shape. Then we have B, which is the height we've got some rounding. There were the two shapes joint. So this rectangle in the circle and then what we do, we have the actual circle, which is Oh, it's the hammer to, And then we've got the cut out circle, which is the centre on. So let me just go here. Let's go. About 400 for overall. With for a height, I'm gonna go 200. Go about half of that, and then next up, let's instead of around in Let's first make our circles to get an idea of it. So we're gonna go to Oh, and then what I'm gonna do is make this one. Maybe about 1 50 then the rounding here, I'm gonna make about 25. Keep it quite subtle in the inner circle. Um, yeah, let's go about think about 75 will do it. So let's just quickly preview this. I'm gonna leave the name the same And, uh, it's giving us a problem with the actual B. It says the B is to be I think it's too big. So let's up this one. We get to go to 200 then we take our B 21 50. Say Okay, here we go. Now we've got a preview now to me. Personally, I think we can maybe make a slightly bigger I mean, sorry. The oh, so the circle so Let's go and make this one about 300. And then the inner circle. I wanna make even bigger. So it's got 200. But look at that. Okay, It's a bit better, but no means our sample. Yeah, For our sample, we'll have to scale down both the circles and then maybe even a which is overall with. But I'm gonna keep this like this for the sample, so I'm gonna add one. And they say at let's add this to our actual canvas or cutting plate. So, yeah, let me put it on the bottom. So it fits a little bit more snug. Yeah, that is it on p 17. It's rather simple shape, actually from advanced shapes.
