When it comes to working on templates then like always learning the basics of the feature is always a good starting point.

The beauty of working with templates is that you know that the design is going to be the exact dimensions that you need it to be, and also once you are ready for print or cutting you know that the template will not be in the final design.

How are you guys in today's video? I'll cut. We'll be looking at templates or design templates. Let's have a quick intro. Yeah, so today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. Uh, you guys will notice when I upload videos daily, so they bring your content otherwise back in the programme. Yeah. Now, templates. This is a grateful, um, designing like, let's say you've got a T shirt. You want to just do a design over it, then, um, using template is a great method for that, uh, to locate it will be going to our document panel on the right, and then we'll go down to show templates. We put that on and we click set templates. Then this little, uh, pop up properties will appear. Now, just a reminder. Or, uh, note that this is a miniseries. So in this video will only be having a basic over Lou. Sorry. Overview of the templates. And then the next one, we will look at a few settings. What happens when we change it? And then the third one will perhaps look at putting custom templates. So just to start off with when we open here, we've got these little all buttons here. This is if you're creating custom templates, then we'll be using this so we won't be covering that now. Under that, we've got our folders. It's very similar to the library in many ways, but I'm not. So if you click that little plus, then we go home and kitchen. We can see the template we've got in here. Now, Um, under this preview option, we've got different. We've got, the more you just text and then we've got the actual icons. We've got a search option. So if you wanna isolate also a design and the bottom year, we've got this little blue bar. If you drag it and you can set the size of the icons, it's gonna be quite convenient. Then if you hover over a, uh, icon also enlarger, you can see it better. So let's just click this matte. But for now, so then the oven mitt. Then under this, we've got some settings as this location rotation, we've got some mirroring options of flipping. We've got the full colour and then, uh, by the view will just tell us what we've got and some custom dimensions so we can constrain the proportions or keep it so that we for designing that remain at a certain dimension on this side. We've got some zooming in. Zoom out because we can fit it to the top of it to the sides. And then yeah, and then we've got the okay button. If you click the OK button, then you 12, uh, at the template for you. Otherwise, we just create our website here. You guys never get to softwaretraining.co.za.
