How are you guys? In today's video final cut? We'll be looking at the cut by colour, single job settings under the colour settings. So this is a quick intro first. Okay, so today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za r together. Today we have a variety of different Softwares will recover and we upload videos daily. So just keep by there for any new content. Otherwise, back in the programme here now, just before we started, just a reminder. This is a miniseries on the cut settings, so I will leave links in the description to the relevant videos. If you want to follow along otherwise to locate your cutter, obviously it's this little paper looking icon with the pen tool to it. It's also sometimes represented as a cutting blade. Now let's say you've got these shapes and you want to cut it all with one go on different colours and then, obviously what you would do is, uh, align all your shapes to their relevant blocks. So dividers cutting that into the blocks and then what you do is on your actual traditional mat that goes into the final cutter. You wanna put your colours on the mat in the same order. So lets say that you want to use scraps so you don't wanna use a full vinyl or something. And this is a great method. So once this is aligned, you put all your shapes and your programme aligned or on a relevant blocks for the colours. Then we can go to the cutter then, uh, making sure that this by cut settings the cut motor said to W Y s I w Y g, we want to go to the third tab on top to cut by colour. Over here, you can see we can see all the colours we've got selected and, uh, I wanna be have it set to full colour unless you're cutting out just the actual strokes. But it's very rare. And then, um, cut all colours, single job. We also have you cut each colour separately, um, separate job. But this will cover in another video. So what this will basically do is in one go or cut all of these colours Now, what you can do is you can also you can isolate colours, So if you say you don't want to cut the orange, you can always click on this little cutter blade next to it, and then it will disappear. Also on your preview, it also disappear. But in a case like this, where everything is set up, right, you will just go here at the bottom to cut, and then it will cut it for you in, uh, one session. But let's say these shapes are actually a bit bigger and overlap to the other blocks. Now there's a few ways we can do it, but there's an easy way when we go just to cut the colour. But let me, uh, demonstrate. So let's say the traditional ways you can do this is if this is not in a group or a group, you can either go and annoy, hide or hide all these layers. When you first cut this, make sure your traditional mat only these colours are on your mat. And then after that, you'll come put this one back, remove all these colours and then but only the orange, and make sure on your traditional matter and the orange of cuts Are there scraps, then, uh, mhm. Yeah, let's just put these back. And then another way you can do it this, for instance, Let's say you select not like that either. Go in your layers panel or click on the shape keeps shifting and click on the next shape. You select all these shapes. Yeah, Sorry. Someone like click and drag as I select moves all my legs. Anyway, So then what you can do is you got your cutter. And then, um, under the cut settings on the first tap general will be cut selection only. And you can click that and will only cut what selection? So that is kind of and then you'll just repeat the process again, but only select the orange and then, yeah, it's quite a time constraint. Yeah, so in any case, so the quicker way to do this, if you just got to cut colour, then you can simply just click on this, um, look colour. So then that blades, and I'll only cut those colours. And then when you're done and you're ready for your orange, you can just remember those and cut them. It's like a quick way to do it. If you're using the colour options in the next video, we'll be covering the separate job cut. Basically separate job. Uh, and then, uh, yeah. Now that's it. On my colours. Single job. We just quickly head here to vinyl cutouts, meals a day. The programme is really available here. Just, uh, navigate to the downloads page. Otherwise, if we go to softwaretraining.co.za uh uh, this video is available there and more like it. And like I mentioned earlier, we've got a variety of different sorts which we'll cover also have this nice little search option. So if you want to isolate your search or looking for anything specific and then if you don't find what you're looking for, just go here to request a training video, and then we'll make that for you. Otherwise, thanks, guys, for watching and cheers.
