TruCUT RDWorks Software Setting the Length of the Rows (Part 9) LGP Design Videos
rdworks row length
When it comes to setting the Length of your Rows, there are two different options to use.
From these options one will set the base length of all the Rows, and the Other the length according to a gradient.
This video is part of a Mini-Series.
Next video covers LGP Design – Row and Col Dislocation.

Hi guys. In today's video, we're gonna be looking at setting your row and column length for the L G P design feature. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. Yeah, so today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za z. We make sure needed to watch problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates otherwise, back in the programme Now, just so you guys know this is a quick reminder, Um, that this is a miniseries on the L G P design. Now, we also leave relevant links in description so you guys can follow along. Now in today's video, we're gonna be looking at setting the baseline to row and column length. And in order to do that, let's just head straight into the feature your under your draw bar. It's going to set up a basic grid basic lines, should I say. And now we've got these settings. So I'm gonna make this one point just to simplify things. Okay, Now, we've already looked at the spacing for the column and row. Now we're gonna be looking at their link. You will notice under the line we can only set the row length. We cannot set the column. This is the word of the height on. Now, let's just set this. Maybe do something like I'm gonna make this 0.5. Then go to system, apply and you'll see it is whole flow with. So this is great if you wanna increase or decrease it. Keep in mind if we had to go and set this, let's say I remember. I think it was two. You can apply and suddenly we got a solid lie. Now what's happening is our spacing and yeah, spacing and our line with now exactly line up. So it makes a solid line. So we had to change your column spacing. Then we will start seeing a space This If I take two goes to three, collect apply. We'll see this actually stall space. So that is going to give you money when you sing the actual with of this or the width of your lines that the spacing works relevant to the actual blank. And then next up, we've got gradients for the gradient. You'll notice we can see it for the with an height. So I'm just gonna I mean for the horizontal and vertical. I'm gonna say this back to four. Comply so we can see the difference. And now let's make this something like 0.1 click. Apply Now we can see how, from the bottom to the top, it slowly increases in with. So that's gradient. And the one where obviously, uh, depending on your block that you add so from years bottom the top next block underneath that top to bottom. Then you're gonna set this back just to zero, so we can see the change better on the next one. Now, let's try this. We said this to a 0.1. Can you comply now? You'll notice from the on. A horizontal plane will set the with, so be small and slowly increases in size. And once again, you can do a relevant thing with your gradient as well. And then it will keep the spacing the same as your thing gets bigger. But yeah, so that is the basics on it. So it's just a quick recap you can set to with of your lines and then also the spacing so you can make the width of the line increase over a gradient. Sorry. And if you Combine this with your spacing. Then you can get some nice outcomes. But otherwise that is it. On your row and column length, we had to head here to softwaretraining.co.za. You guys will notice we've got a variety of different Softwares will recover. And you can also isolate your search on the top, Right? If you do not, however, find the training videos you're looking forward. Just simply go here requesting training video, telling me form. Then we'll do our best to try and make that for you. But otherwise thanks, guys, for watching and cheers.
