TruCUT RDWorks Layers Panel on the Work Tab (Part 1) System Work Plate Mini-Series

The Layers Panel within your System Work Plat (SWP) is a place you can change the behavior of layers.

You should notice that the layers are sorted according to colors and not by types like in most other programs.

Alright, guys, In today's video, we're gonna be looking at your system work play, which is this panel on the right. It's also known as your control panel. We'll be looking at our first tab, which is the work tab and our first option, which is for the layers. This will be also for trick. It only works so yeah, otherwise, let's have a quick intro first before we start. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. We make sure and easy to watch problem solving videos and we also have daily updates otherwise, back in the programme here. Now, like I mentioned, this is gonna be a miniseries on the system workplace or the control panel on the right. And also we leave relevant links in description. So you guys actually following along now If for any reason you do not see yours, you can always go to your main menu on top. You got to view and then we want to get navigate until we see system workplace The reason why I sometimes call it control panel as well as causing the older programmes or versions you call the control panel now? Yeah. So on the first tab which I worked at, we've got the layers. Now, as you can see, we've got two colours were red and blue. If I have to add any new shape and change the colour to me, it's like green. Then you'll see It just added and you lay it there. So this is kind of where you can see how many different colours layers you've got. And, yeah, I'm just gonna remove that from now and then A few other things Good to keep in mind, we can reorder the, um, cut order by somebody clicking the layer, dragging it to a new position. So now it is under the blue. So now it will cut the red first or the blue first. Just keep in mind that, uh, yeah, if you have path, uh, optimised path on it will also help. Now, I would also recommend before you say, if you can always just go to your preview, So then you can just simulate and see what it's the current cutting order. You can do that as well under your layers for your layers area can also go to your show path and then we can also see the path that's gonna follow. So, yeah, that is for your, um, basics on the layer, then next to the layers here. Still, for the layers, we have a few different options. We've got mode, output and height. If you double click these settings, they will change. But except for Mark, when you double click or basically open advanced properties, you can say for some of the features you can find here, but there's some extra as well. It will cover that in another video and then to the right of that, we've got output, so you can simply double click if you want that colour to be output or not. So let's say you only want to cut the blue. You can just say no to the red, then to the right of that, we've got hide. So also, if you want to utilise your work, you can simply hide something. So it's not in a way. And, uh, yeah, that is the basics on the actual layers area for your work tab.
