TruCUT RDWorks System Bars Grouping and Ungrouping (Part 6) the System Bar Mini-Series

When working on more complex designs the Grouping features is a must, so having it on the System Bar is great.

There are a few different icons when it comes to the group feature. one you do not see every often is the Auto Group Feature.

All right, guys, In today's video, we're gonna be looking at the system bars group and then group icons or functions located within it. And this will be four true cut already works. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. Yeah, so today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. We make sure that easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates. Otherwise, back in the programme here. Now, just a quick reminder. This is a miniseries on the system bar, which is located up here. Now. We also put relevant links in description, So you guys gonna should follow along. So now, in today's video, we're gonna be looking at the last three features located within the system bar. So they will also conclude a little mini series on the system bar. So I just wanna thank you guys for joining me for it. And then, um, hopefully you'll join me in the next few. Serious is as well. So now when it comes to grouping and regrouping, most of you are spread quite familiar with these um features. If you've been using design programmes if you're new to it. It basically will just group multiple objects that you've selected together. And then, um, you can kind of control him as one single object. In many ways, it just makes management and the workflow a bit easier. So now, under the system, by year we've got three different options. As you can see, the first one is order group, and we've got groups and one group. Obviously, these two are relevant to each other. In many ways, you're not so much the group, but the group. And then So let's first look at the order group. So what this will do is if we have multiple objects selected, we click this and then objects within other objects will automatically be grouped together. So as we can see here on the left, these two rectangles are overlapping. Tonight I had to click here. You will see I can move them individually, which means so let's just try that again, which means they are not grouped on this side. However, if I click, you'll see it's group these two together, and then the bottom one is obviously not grouped, so that is border group for you. It's gonna undo this so we can actually get this thing straight. And then now, as you can see, they are grouped again. So that is border groups or anything inside of other objects will be ordered group the automatic group. And we have a group which whatever you have selected will be grouped together. So we can even select these two rectangles, click the group button and then now they are grouped together. Then we can perhaps group these ones together, group them and now they are together. As you can see the highlight and read and these two Now what you can do is with one selected like this, you can either go and group like normally, which we'll see now. These two are on grouped. And if I undo that, make sure there are these ones in stock groups can always also select all of them and just click on groups. Then it will a group everything for you. So yeah, that's just about covers our group buttons here because most of these features or not, all of them, but most of them will go into more depth in future.
