The Current SN option within the Serial No feature for Variable Text is for the serial at hand.

When you are working on large orders with many products you might have to cut over multiple days, then being able to set the current serial number will be of great use.

Hey guys. In today's video, we're going to be looking at the current SN feature that's located under your serial number for the text to. But before that, let's have a quick intro first, so today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za z. This is miniseries on the text tool, and I will leave relevant links in the description. So he has been following along now. Yeah, the previous few videos. We've already established the start of the serial number code, then the end of it and also the actual, um uh, what can I say? A amount of Cyril's you can have within that batch. So in today's video I mentioned, we're gonna be looking at setting the current now. Yeah, this could be a good start. Where you set, uh, said to carry one? Or perhaps let's say you were working on a batch and, uh, I just stopped halfway or something like that. And then with this, you can easily just reset it to the right numbers you can carry on from there. So now in order to do that, we select the text with our serial number double click it and we're going to a text to you on the right by the enable variable text with our Cyril Eno We've got our prefix suffix and start, you know, set Now the year we can see the current one So you can change this to, um whatever you want. I'm gonna make my 29 just so you can see and we say apply okay and you'll see our actual current serial number updates. So before we set the start, when nothing happened but now you can see there's an actual change. She always said there's not 01 If you wanted to same thing, apply okay. And then it will set it to 01 and then, yeah, you can start from there. That's the basic on setting the current serial number.
