TruCUT RDWorks (2nd Part) a Five Point Star (Part 6) Design Type Workflows Mini-Series

rdworks five point star

In this video we’ll be looking at the second part of designing the Five-Pointed Star shape.

The previous video we had a look at making a base guide where all the points will be going and ending up at.

This video is part of a Mini-Series.
Next video covers Design – 6 Point Star.
Previous video covered 5 Point Star P1.

Alright, guys, in today's video truth that already works, We're gonna be looking at part two of how to make a five point star. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. Mm. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za Today we make sure an easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates otherwise, back in the programme here now. Yeah, like I mentioned, this will be part two on, um, five point star. Previous video. We created the basic guide outline or guide. Um Layer. So in today's video, now, we're gonna be looking at how to complete this. Now, if I had to zoom in here, I'm going to use the bottom example. So we've got the basic shape of created. You can always go in the description. We'll leave a link to the previous video. So if you did not follow along now, what I'm gonna do, I'm gonna just change colour of these guides. Just so they're not that obvious. And then the important thing of these guys now we're gonna use the top point as a reference and then also every point in between so we're not gonna use points next to it. Only points in between. And then basically, I don't know if you interview. Remember the pattern from when you were young driving a five star where you go across bottom top, bottom left. And it's like a quick way to create a five star, so you can use it from the top point also if you want, but I'm just gonna use it from the left to right. So I'm more familiar with that next up. So I'm gonna create I would just select the colour here, make it black, or let's make it rate. So it's easy to see. Go to the pageant. Tula Gagnon. A drop ball. Select that, and then you wanna make sure this is as aligned as close as you can. And if it ever give you an icon like that to join, just go just off. You can always correct that afterwards. Otherwise it will try join those, um, shapes. Mm. So in any case, I'm gonna start here. We click. I'm gonna keep controlling so strange the, um, line. I went a bit over there, but it will just keep it like this for the sake of the tour, go bottom corner, top corner. And then, like I said, just go just off MM, bottom corner and then close the light. Now, we've got a fair, little nice, um, base shape for making our actual start. So, yeah, this is the second guide already, but as you can see, this is way close to the stuff. You have to measure these. You will notice that they are very accurate compared to other ways of making the stock. So now what I'm gonna do, I'm gonna change the colour of black, and this will be our final one. So that's also, if you want to zoom in a bit, depending on your screen size, my screen, there we go. Just put it in, Go back to the same tool apology tour. Then we once again start. But now what we wanna do is we want to stay on the outlines. So we didn't actually want to cross any of the lines, so we gon outline. Come on, top here. I'm just gonna try seven. Corrected. My last one. Mm. I'm not lying this time. One got over the line. Almost carried on the storey. Uh, and this is a good time to refine it. So if you can see that I went a bit off this line, then just corrected you on the line. Mhm on the line. Obviously, depending on how much time you're willing to spend on this. Also determine, um, quality of the end result. And then we'll find clothes there. We should have a five star, so I'm gonna just so we can select it. Concerns our guide. I think we're gonna have to get the guides. Okay, I'm gonna zoom out. You get the guide out the way slipper star, and there we go. Got a very nice looking five star, in my opinion. So there's, like I said, other methods. We can go about this, but this method gets quite a nice result. Yeah, um uh, once off, we've got two guides we've got, basically the one that we're retired in 37 degrees with the lines. Get in between the classic crossing, the to create the shape and then create the spinal shape around that only following outlets. But otherwise we had here to softwaretraining.co.za You guys will notice We've got a variety of different Softwares you cover. And also you can isolate your search on the top of right. If you do not, however, find any video you're looking forward. Just go here. Request a training video filling the mini form. And then we will make that video for you. But otherwise Thanks, guys, for watching and chips. Mm.
