TruCUT RDWorks Tracing with the Pologen Tool (Part 4) the Tracing Images Mini-Series
rdworks bg pologen trace
This is great when you are working with tracing templates that only have straight edges and lines.
Something to keep in mind when it comes to the Pologen tool, is that you are only able to make straight lines with it, and no flowing curves.
This video is part of a Mini-Series.
Next video covers The Curve Trace.

All right, guys, In today's video, we're going to have a quick look at doing a trace with a politician tool using the background, image importing or importing background image to. But before that, let's have a quick intro first, so today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. We make sure needed to watch problem solving videos and daily updates. Otherwise, back in the programme here and now, just a quick reminder. This is a miniseries on the background image tracing, Um uh, feature. And also, I will leave relevant links and description so you guys can follow along now In this video, we're gonna be looking at a quick overview of tracing with a collagen tool, which is this path tool on our left to bowl, which is for straight past, so we cannot create any curves with it. It's only straight past, so if you have a shape or design that is only using straight past, this is great. So the first thing you want to do is select it. Click on it. As you can see, we've got the three years we've got the normal line, which creates a single line and this apology, and you can actually create continuing lines after each other. And then we got the curve. So normally I like to zoom in at a comfortable distance. And the nice thing about using imported image as the background to traces that we cannot snap to these points like we could in the previous tracing series. So now we can do is we simply left. Click with your mouse on the point we want and then move on. You can see this little line where it's gonna go now. Just a note on creating Let's say your own samples try to have a saturation quite low and also, uh, more than saturation. The contrast. So nothing to black. Nothing too or white. You can, but nothing to black, so keep it rather to the lighter contrast. But anyway, back here. So now we simply just want to click all these points. Obviously, if you want to be very precise with Tracy, you can zoom in and make sure you're really on this point. But just for the sake of this, um, miniseries, I just want to get it done quick. Then, when you get back to the end. You will see it creates this closing an icon where Anywhere here, it will not do it. So that's how you know you're back to the origin. And when you click there, it will confirm the shape for you. Then she zoom back out. You can obviously change this colour to whatever you want. And then I would recommend if you're done with your sample, then you can simply go Can't figure your main menu page settings and we go at the bottom here to clear background, clean background. We moved that. And there you go. We've got a shape. And like I mentioned before now, with our shape, we can just reschedule it if we want it smaller, larger, you can also rotated. It works like a normal shape now and yeah, so that is it on creating a quick trace with a politician tool. Always in the Meanwhile, if we had here to softwaretraining.co.za s here that you guys don't notice, you've got a variety of different software to recover. And also you can isolate your search on the top, right? If you do not however, find the video looking forward, just go here. Request a training video. Fill in the meaning form, and we'll try our best to try and make that video for you. But otherwise thanks, guys for watching and cheers.
