From all the different option categories for the Print feature, the print option has by far the most to choose from.

If you would like to nicely refine you design before a final print, then some of these options will come in very handy as you should notice.

Hi there, guys. In today's video flexi Starter, we're gonna be looking at the print options for the printer Pdf open to your desktop. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. Mm mm. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za Today we make sure it's easy to watch the problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates. Otherwise, back in the programme here. Now, just a quick reminder. This is a miniseries on printing to print or to pdf, and I will also leave relevant links in the description so you guys can actually follow along now in order to, uh, locate your printer or your printing options. You can always go to file print from the click the print from Main menu or we hit control PIF shortcut. Now, under the these options, we've already covered the first three that we're gonna be looking now, here at the print options on the right. As you can see, we have a few years. So for the first one that off we, um, the selection only. So for that, we're gonna need something selected. So I'm going to select this, um, someone make it that little rectangle. So I'm gonna eat control p again. Now, if we choose selection, only you can see or only print that. So now keep in mind. You can have multiple things selected, and then only print that as well, which is nice, then. Next up, we've got border. So now, if we select this, then your design border, which we can see, uh, around your design will also be printed. So you can actually now, um So if you wanted to use that on a hard papers, see, where's your border? You can print that and cut it out afterwards. Then next up, we've got a wireframe. Basically, what this will do is so, um, leave out all the fills and only print the outlines. So this is also nice if you wanna preview or to refine some ageing. Then after that, we've got the, uh what is that? Substrate? I don't know if I'm saying that correctly, but it will only, uh, print the substrate colour if there is an So in our case, there is not. And then we've got here the guide. So if we put this at the moment, cannot see guys because I've got my hidden. But if we had to select this, then you can actually see the guide to stay so that you can print your guide as well. So if you want to, um, let's say you've got a certain guide distance in your your your design. You've measured it in the programme and you want to go see when you finally printed. Is it accurate? Is that the same distance? You always do that, and then if it's not you just readjust your design. According then. You can also put your grid on for preview or when you're printing, which is nice. And then we've got the contour cut parts. So let's say we've got something and it's got a contour cut. Yeah, keep a rectangle just quickly set it here. So just outside the water, this is nice. If you're doing stickers on that and you want to know where the cut lines are, Obviously you know, if you have multiple printers, set up one for cutting and so forth, then, um, were relevant. But if you want to see it in your actual preview, then you can just select it there. As you can see Once you print this, it will have, uh, contour cut lines there as well. We also have. Then last year, we've got template. So from this option, we can actually choose, Um, what type of template we wanna print. So as you can see, we've got a few different setups for, um, you know, for different reasons why you're trying to use these templates, and then you can obviously some of them You can see it at different scales to make sure it's fine and so forth. But, yeah, that's just a quick run through of the print options. So I have a few different panels to cover here or different options settings, but that will be it for today.
