Alrighty, guys. Today in flexi print, we're gonna be looking at setting some basic print settings. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. co dot Z A. We make sure and easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates. Otherwise, we're back into the programme here now. In the previous video, in this mini series on printing or the printing basics, we looked at importing graphics. Now what we're going to do is looking at setting some actual settings for these before we print them. So now there's two ways we can go to our printing. The first one is we go into our file, and just so we navigate down till we find R and print, and then the other one is We can go on to our main tool bar, and then we find the little one next to the classic printer icon, and we're gonna If we're over there, we can see it says rip and print, and we've got the shortcut control page, so I'm just gonna select that one. This will open our actual production manager in the background, along with our printing settings. So I'm just gonna click on the TM here at the bottom so you can see the production manager is now also open. It's the old job. We can delete that. Oh, so I can just show you later what happens? OK, now, under our actual production, I mean our, uh, rip and print. We've got a few different settings to look a T. We obviously have our preview on the right. So any changes we make, we can see live updates. You wanna make sure your printer is set to the right one on top here, but it should do it by default. Then we have a few tabs here. Like I said, we'll go into another video into the more advanced settings. But for now, we just keep it on the first tab, which is general, and under that, we've got material, So this is the size of the actual material it's going to be printed on. So it's not related to your actual, uh, graphics. You can trim it here, or you can click this button. You can set a custom size, but I'm just gonna leave this at default. Then under that, we have sent mode. Now, by default, it's under sent now. So once you click, send when you done it will go straight to production manager and start printing it. You've got holding list and then it'll send it there. But you will have to kind of confirm it to, uh, start. So if you don't wanna go right away and then we've got save to file, this is, let's say you've got a printer running on a different net. Or rather not network but another place and you can copy the file onto actual flash drive, take it there and print it yourself. Under that, we've got a position we can set up a design in general. I will leave these settings and I'll just simply click here and drag the design around and you'll see as I move it, these ones will update. So that is a simple way to go about it. And then we've got the actual job size under that. Now, here you can fine tune your design size. This one is nice. It works with percentage so you can drop the scale by a certain percent. If you want, you can also fit to media and then that will fit it to the actual design size of NY, which can be handy. But I'm gonna leave that off now. I'm gonna scale it down. So maybe to about 5060 somewhere around there, then what we can do after that, we've got copies. Now, it's, uh, important to, uh, not mistake this for, uh, repeat job. So this won't be the amount of copies it prints, but rather the amount of copies you put on your actual design, As you can see there on the left, That up on the right, it updates as I adjust this. Then you've got here the spacing ho. So the horizontal spacing and the vertical spacing. So I'm just gonna centre this, simply gonna click there, move it, And then let's scale it down a bit. So I can, uh, but down So I can just show you the spacing. Obviously, on most of angels we want try to squeeze us in to save as much material as you can. Yeah, so I'm gonna just space there. You can see we're spacing up the, uh, actual horizontal. And then now we're spacing. The vertical might be confusing because you would imagine it's gonna be the other way. But this is the length of the printer, which means it's spray gonna be printing this way. So this will be the actual horizontal line. And this will be the vertical line. Um, yeah, so it can be confusing if you don't if you think your printers layout is going up or down, But yeah, otherwise, that is it. On the basic settings, the last one we have here is obviously, uh, job Repeat. So if we select this, we choose how many times we wanna repeat this print How many copies we wanna make of it. But yeah, before we head on, if we head here to softwaretraining.co.za. co dot Z A. You guys will notice we've got a variety of different Softwares we do cover. And you can also isolate your search on the top, right? If you do not, however, find the training videos you're looking for, just simply go. Yeah, request the training video, fill in the mini form, and then we'll do our best to try and make that for you. But otherwise thanks, guys, for watching and cheers
