The PDF file format is one of those classic formats that has been around, and still will be for some time.

This is maybe one of the most used file formats when it comes to sending work files, from Documents all the way to high detail Design files.

mhm. Hi there, guys. In today's video with Flexi Starter, we'll be looking at how to import pdf files. But let's start with a quick intro first, so today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. That's the other today. You guys will see we've got a variety of different softest we do cover. Also, we upload training videos daily so you can just keep an eye on the site for the new content that was back in the programme. Yeah, now just a reminder. This is a miniseries on the importing, and there's quite a few different file types to cover. We'll only be covering all important ones are not all of them then, uh, otherwise, you're to locate your importing. Two will be here on your standard toolbar, which will be this main one where you need to save and all of that. This is the icon with old floppy to a file, and then another way, we can do this. We got foul and we've got import on top. So then after we click this, then, uh, let's our format is set to pdf General will be under the top, which will be, um, or readable files but we will just be covering individual fast from now. So now you get a few different types of PDFs. Obviously, you can get more graphics related, tax related, so forth. So now let's say we're gonna grab just something more graphics related. You'll see it says PDF and AI for Adobe Illustrator. So they will both work in this process very similar. But with some changes and we can click import. They will ask you where you want to place those graphics you've imported. I'm just gonna put it here to the right. As you can see here is the logo imported as victor with no additional issues. I think what we can also do. Let's say we go to new document and then we go to import again and let's take some texts. Now we'll get a few different options. First of all, if it's got more than one page, they will ask us. Here there are two pages in the file input one page, or you can say you know which page number one page one, Page two, depending on the amount of pages here, or you can go and put all pages, but I'll just keep it one for now. Then, once we click, OK, will give us this next option, which is, um, import Texas paths. So if we do this, let's say they've got a unique fonts they're using and you don't plan editing the text, Then you can keep this on. Then it will turn into paths, and they will basically look like the font they used. But if you have the funds installed and you plan on editing the text, you can cheque this one off, and then we say, Okay, it will ask you where you wanna place it, replace it. Now, if we use a text to we'll see, we're actually able to start edit things, which is a convenient that you can still do that. So if you're working on a design with texting it, otherwise that is it on importing. Pdf If you guys never get to softwaretraining.co.za you'll see that zebra.
