How are you guys? In today's video? We're gonna be looking at how to navigate your three D space with a mouse. But before that, let's have a quick intro first, so today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. We make sure an easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates. Otherwise, if we go back to the practical here, So now this will be the last practical for navigating your three d space before we move on to our next topic. Now, today we're gonna be looking at navigating this three d space with your mouse. Now, in my opinion, like I normally say, this is a preferred way and most three D Softwares and programmes with three D spaces you can work in. This will be the way to go about it. Um, the other two are nice, but this one, in my opinion, is the most rounded and most so the fastest work. Flip. You might still find yourself from time to time using the home button, perhaps, or the fit zoom. These ones are handy and obviously the magnifying glass. But in today's video, I'm gonna, uh, make it a little bit different. So we're gonna start with rotating, and then we're gonna start with a rotating clockwise and counterclockwise. So now, once, once again, just to recap, we're gonna use our middle mouse button and try to select a corner somewhere. So now your idea is to try and rotate this thing right around without losing the plane too much. So if you get over here, then go to the centre, rotate it a bit more flat again. Just so we get in a practise of, uh, rotating correctly now, sometimes you can, if you must not too close to the screen like mine. You can just adjust your rotation like salt to centre it again. So now with a full rotation, what I want you to do instead of using the home or anything like that, try readjusted with other keys. So now we've got, um, obviously control the middle mouse button. If we hold those both in, we can pan it and we've got shift and hold into Zuma. So I would say Try and get this kind of centred again and get the rotation nice and horizontal or the plane quite Eve. Just get an idea of how to use these settings. Now, if you want, you can rotate right around left and right. But I would say for the sake of this practise in actual work, you won't be too worried by the state of this practise. Try see how level you can keep this plane throughout the process. So it forces you to switch between panning and all the extra little fine rotations. And then when you get that nice and flat again, then what you do is you carry on with your rotation centre of the screen and get it right around, and then we just quickly adjust this again to get it a bit more centred. And then that will be a good exercise. Like I said, just stop between them and then what I want to do for the last little exercise. So we're gonna use some zooming and panning just because, um, the zoom tool works slightly different to your normal mouse wheel. So try not to use your mouse wheel up and down, but rather control. I mean, sorry, shift plus mouse button. Keep it into zoom. So what I want you to do is zoom into this one. Then zoom out. Zoom into that one. Zoom out and what you can do, zoom into that one pan to that one and zoom out. Uh, by now, you should be already quite comfortable, but this will help it to that little extra bit. So now the thing to keep in mind is, if you're gonna shift plus middle mouse button and zoom, it's gonna zoom into the centre. So not to your mouse cursor like we've covered before. This one is gonna go to centre. Say, if you want to zoom in by this one, zoom out, zoom into that one. In the first one, I use control the middle mouse button panders to the middle of your screen, zoom in, use control to plant at the back together, more centred because it's nice if you're working and then we want to zoom out again. Use control Japan to the new point shift. Zoom in on troll Japan, now the last one with zooming and panning. I will leave that for you guys to do. I'm saying that this video is running a bit long, but like I mentioned with all these practical if you can do it a few times doing with me. Then do it afterwards without any help and then just play around a bit. But like all of them, if you're still struggling, don't worry too much. You will catch this the more you use the programme. So that is always one thing to keep in mind is that your skill is going to improve as you become more competent with you the time you spend in the programme. But otherwise, yeah, that is it on the practical hope You guys enjoyed this little mini series and hopefully you're a bit better off with navigating a three d space. But yeah, otherwise, in the meanwhile, if we go here to softwaretraining.co.za I'll see you guys will notice We've got a variety of different Softwares we do cover.
