FabriCAM Software About Computer Aided Designs (Part 1) Step by Step Video Tutorial

fabricam computer aided designs
When it comes to FabriCAMS CAD (Computer-Aided Design) feature, we will be using it for most of our custom parts.
The CAD feature is designed to work with Vector based designs which makes it quite flexible.
This video is part of a Mini-Series.
Next video covers CAD Basics – New.

All right, guys, In today's video, we're gonna be looking at the CAD feature for fabric Camp software. But before that, let's have a quick intro first, so today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za z. We make sure it's easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates. Otherwise, if we head into the programme here now, in today's video, like I mentioned, we're gonna be looking at the cad. This is gonna be a mini serious where we're going to cover a few of its basic, um, features. So we're starting off with that. Then we're going, maybe to some navigation and then, ideally, some more advanced features available for the actual cat. Now, when it comes to actual cad, this is icon in the top left. It is also referred to computer aided design. So yeah, it can be used from 2 to 3 D. Um, in two D, There will be a lot of, uh, flat product design, so you'll be making the sheets or designing it. And then in the three D, you can even simulate certain things. So if you're making maybe a swing or something, like that, you can actually simulate a lot of it. So it saves you a lot of time before manufacturing it. So you can first test that run it and so forth. But in our case, at the moment, we're gonna be most looking at the more two D version, even though it is of a three D product. Um, we'll be using a lot of times different programmes to simulate three D where this will be two D based around a three D product in most cases. But then, yeah, in order to go to the cat, we're actually gonna use this iconic zoom. So you guys and see it a bit better. So somebody's gonna click on this icon to go to cat can, uh, you can't get your far. I thought you can. You can close it from. So then what you wanna do is you click on cat and then this will open your actual card feature. Now, it is good to keep in mind that this is separate your cam. So the changes you're making here won't necessarily be in your camp. So if you have to close this up, then you won't see those changes. You have to export this as a separate file, like a GXF file or something on that line and then re import it into your programme. But we'll be going through all of that, so you don't have to worry too much. But yeah, otherwise that is it on about the cat. Um, in the next few videos, we're gonna be starting to look at how to use it. But just a quick recap. So basically, it is a computer aided design, and you will be designing all your cad, um, to the cat, uh, layout over here with the features available, but yeah, otherwise, if we had to softwaretraining.co.za. You guys will notice we've got a variety of different Softwares we do cover, and you can also isolate. You're searching on the top of right. If you do not, however, find the training videos you're looking for, just simply go. Yeah, request the training video filling the form. And then we'll do our best to try and make that for you. But otherwise thanks, guys for watching and churches
