fabricam bridges dimensions config

After we have looked at the Bridges feature and how to use it, we will be looking at the advanced config available for it.

Now when it comes to the Bridges tool and its advanced configuration, they might not be as advanced as it might seem at first.

This video is part of a Mini-Series.
Next video covers STC Remnant Config.
Previous video covered STC Mircojoints Dimensions.

All right, guys, In today's video, we're gonna be looking at some advanced configurations for your bridges tool. And this will be four fabric camp software. But before all of that, let's have a quick intro first. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za z. We make sure an easy to watch problem solving videos. We also have daily updates. Otherwise, why head back into the programme here? So now I just could reminder this is a miniseries on advanced configurations for micro joint bridges and remnants. And in this video, we're gonna be quickly looking at how to just or, uh, use some advanced features for your actual bridges tool. So in order to do that, I'm just gonna add some shapes to our plane here and then, uh, have a go at it. So now the first thing you want to do is maybe go to configuration, so you don't have to do it and then reset it up. So I'm gonna go configuration to micro joint bridges and remnants. Tab, resume fixed, zoom for you guys. And then I'm gonna go to the second setting, which is bridges, dimensions and with by default, set to one. So I'm gonna send it to 50 mil so you guys can see it better. I've already adjusted it. So we won't do it here and then normally say applying okay. And then what you wanna do is go to Cam and then go to your actual bridge to now something to keep in mind about your actual bridge tool. Um, it works slightly different to the micro joints where the micro joint. If I click this, uh, I can add a few micro joints here on the same side. As you can see. That with the bridge to unfortunately does not work like that. You can only put one per side and also one going from one object to another. So if I go and put a bridge here So I've selected my bridge tool click on this plane, and then this plan you'll see is a little dot there, but you have to zoom in to see it. You see that added a micro bridge for that. So now, in order to add another bridge, you have to click it again. And it's not like you're micro joint, so you can just click click. If I click here, it will select my shape for me. So I'm gonna click the add bridge and then let's do that again on the same wall so you can just see give this error, saying that those two parts or those parts I can't make a bridge between. But now, if I click the bridge tool again and I go from the bottom year, then you'll see it added another bridge. So keep in mind you can't add bridges more than multiple, more than one bridge from one shape to the same shape. And, yeah, you'll have to also click the bridge tool every time you wanna use it now under the bridge, saying, If I go out of the cam, you'll see there's another option here under our settings to zoom in here for you guys so you can see here create bridges in the same line. So now if I had to click this, I can show you what happens. So last time we create a bridge down this way and then up again. Now what's gonna be happening is if I go to Cam Bridge and let's say I click on this area and in this direction. If I click, it will create as a bridge right through in the same line that we created the first one. So this one, you have to be a bit more aware of where you're going. So if I don't need all the shapes, I want to do something on this line, and then you can see I create a bridge through. So this is nice if you've nested things, you want to create bridges between them and try to use this feature to automatically create a form of line between them. But yeah, otherwise, that is on the configuration. I'm just gonna set my mind back to the default. So I'm gonna say this 1 to 1 and then this off. So just to recap again. So this will be setting your with your bridges and the bottom here will be sending, Or it will be creating a bridge in the same line automatically to the next shape that's behind it. Yeah, otherwise, that is it. On configuration for bridges. If we had here to softwaretraining.co.za. You guys will know. Just got a variety of different Softwares. We do cover. And you can also isolate your search on the top of right. If you do not, however, find the training videos you're looking for, just simply go. Yeah, request the training video in the mini form. And then we'll do our best to try and make that for you. But otherwise Thanks, guys, for watching and cheers, Okay.
