are you guys in today's video? We're gonna be looking at where to locate your cut in and cut out feature and also something to keep in mind about when you actually want to use it. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. Yeah, so today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za c o dot z A. We make short easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates. Otherwise, back in the programme here now, just a quick reminder. This is a miniseries on the cutting and cut out feature, and I will also leave relevant links and descriptions. You guys can follow along now. Yeah, before we located just something with mentioning, which I forgot to mention in the intro in the overview. And that is that if you're using a small laser cutter, the cut in and cut out is most probably not that necessary. You can get away without it, so only when you're working with bigger machines that you might want to enable this because otherwise, then back into the video now to locate it. There's three ways we can go about this or to open the feature and but something to keep in mind is that, uh there's gonna be rather frustrating if you don't know it. And that is you can only open it if you have something selected. So if we look at the first way, if we go on our bar on top, here we can. We're over there. We can see we've got cut in property. I click that absolutely nothing happens. And that is because we actually need something selected. That we want to set the cut in and cut out properly. Makes sense. But yeah, it can be rather frustrating if you forget. So if we select our circle and then if we click this, you will see it opens the cutting and cut out settings for us. Now, another way we can do this is we go to our edit menu under our main menu, navigate down until we find cut, edit, cut in property, click that and will open the same thing. Then the third way we can do this if we go to our main menu again to view, and then we make sure our cut in and out bar is enabled. So this is this bar here on top of left. Now, with your object selected. If you click this cut in and cut out, it will do the same thing. We'll open our yeah mm. Cut in and out settings. Now, I personally like to use this top one year just as quick and simple. But if you're gonna be working with cutting out a lot, always leave this bar open, then, uh, for quick access. But I'm gonna switch this off for now, so it's not too busy or using to face, Not too busy. So then once again, just a quick recap. So if you wanna open it, make sure you have object selected that you want to cut in and out on and then maybe get either to the top menu year to this little icon or edit. Then we go to cut, edit, cut property or view and enabled your cutting and cut out, and then click on the cut in dash our false lash out. Otherwise, that just about covers locating it. Um, if we are to head here to softwaretraining.co.za the other the right. You guys will notice We've got a variety of different Softwares.
