Hi guys in today's video Flexi starter, we're gonna be looking at how to set your default fill and stroke colours and a few different options we have when it comes to that. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. Mhm. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za not seeing today. We make sure that easy to watch problem solving videos and we have daily updates, other ones back in the programme. Yeah, Now we've kind of covered this already. The default colours, but just briefly in, I think it was being user interface miniseries today. We're gonna be looking at it, um, in more depth and also a few different options we have. So now, right off the bat, we've got our first option, which what this will do is it will only change it for the current document and only while the programme's open. If you close it and reopen, it's gonna set it back to the default. So what we can do is, um so if you know, you're gonna be using those colours a lot in your document that you always do that so just simply on your switch tables at the bottom. Select the colour you want by left clicking. But keep your mouse button in. Then we're gonna drag this colour to the full bottom. Right? I'm gonna show you guys can see that. And then the same with the struggle resuming for the stroke. So left, like holding drag. It's all we find this stroke drop on the problem. As you can see now we've got a new defaults. Now, keep our eye there. So if we go now and make a new document, you'll notice that the reset it back to the default. So that is something to keep in mind. Now, the next option we've got here it is. I can currently only set it for the full. I'm not sure you had to do it for the stroke as well. But what this will do is, um It will set it for your current document. And if you open a new document in the current session, then it will also have those defaults. But keep in mind if you close the programme and reopen, it will only still be relevant for the document that changed it in Then any new documents will have the default again. so we'll we'll do this. One is with nothing selected. We press em cut your mixer, which is also that, um, colour palette thing or the mixing board for artists on your standard toolbox. Then what you can do is set your colour. And yeah, once you have something you like, you just close it as you can see the fullest change in the bottom. Right now, if you go and make a new document, you will see it is still, um, new fall. Even though the stroke has changed to the default. So like images, keep in mind if you close your programme, then when you come back and make a new document, these ones will be sit back to the default. But this document will still have these settings. Then what we do have is the last one which is most probably This is the one that will set the default for the entire programme. So you close and reopen. It will set it back to this. So what we can do is we, um, with nothing selected two ways, we can go about it the one way we can simply click on these to change the colour so you can click. And then if you keep controlling for the stroke, you can change it or what we can do. Make sure nothing selected. We go to our full and our well and stroke editor. Then we'll go down the menu selecting this rust orange for the full for the stroke. I'm gonna maybe go now, Transparent For that way, I put the stroke when I wanted. Now, with this selected, we can simply like you'll see the same make a new document will be the same. Now let's say close the programme, then just reopen it. I do apologise. My programme takes a little while to open. So I will try uh see if we can keep this video Not much more than five minutes. So the moment already past four minutes In general, these videos, I'd like to, if possible, keep them under four minutes. Otherwise it becomes a bit of a slip. Watching Naevia is too long anyways. Now back on the programme. As you can see, our full and stroke a store said to that heuristic orange and the transparent stroke like we did before and I opened the document. Same thing. Okay, Now it's gonna be obviously the one we've said with the mixer, so keep that in mind, but for any new documents, it will be the new full and stroke. Otherwise, that is it on the defaults or fill and stroke. Um, if we head here to softwaretraining.co.za. You guys on this, we've got a variety of different Softwares we do cover. And also you can isolate your search on the top of right. If you do not, however, find what you're looking for, you can always go to your request, the training media. Then we will make that for you. But otherwise thanks, guys watching and cheers.
