All right, guys, In today's video I flexi print, we're gonna be looking at the case for the text tool. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. co dot Z A. We make short and easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates in Otherwise, we're into the programme years now we are busy with a mini series on the actual text tool. We've looked at quite a few features already, and now we're gonna be looking at the very handy case tool. So this allows us to change the case of the letters, whether it's upper case, lower case or a few variations in the styling of it. So what I've got here is just the basic, um softwaretraining.co.za t am.co dot Z A. So just give us a variation in things. So, first of all, we've got a mini sentence, so that will affect the difference. And then we have some periods within this, uh, name just to see how does it react when there's a, uh, closed to the sentence. So by default, this is just set up with a basic sentence and then So the first letter is uppercase and the rest is all small letters. My text for a dot COZ I did make it slightly bigger, so it kind of complements the design. Just say if you wonder why this is bigger. This is not uppercase. This is all actual lower case. So I wanna There's two ways we can go about this. First of all, we can simply just select the text and change the case, and this will do it for the entirety of the selected. Or we can go to the text tool, select individual text and change just those ones case. But for the sake, I'm just gonna start off with just the selection tool. Then, in order to change the case, I'm gonna go, Yeah, on top to our main menu. And then we're gonna go to text go down till we find case under here. You'll see we have a few different options. So let's start with the uppercase. If I select this, it will transform all our letters into uppercase. This is common in, like logos and stuff like that, where they rarely use a variation in case, and perhaps also, if you want to make a big header or something? This can be handy then once again, if we go to the same menu, we go to text. Sorry, it's on. Zoom there. Then we go to case then you see, we've got all lower case. The office is gonna do the opposite. Everything lowercase there. Then we got text case and then we've got sentence. So this is pretty much how ours was set up with. The only difference is you'll see with the AM dot COZ A. It's gonna be a bit confused because of those periods within the actual URL. So if I click this, you'll see our first letter on softwaretraining.co.za is upper case. Then it's small letters, small letters, AM, small. Then it sees it as the, uh the sentence is closed. Then all a big ZCO closed and then a big Z A So that is can be a problem. But I'll share now We can fix that. Then let's just quickly look at the last ones remaining. So now if we go back here to the text menu, go to case under that we've got title case. So now what? This is gonna do is every single word. It's gonna start with a capital letter and the rest will all be small, as you can see over there. So now everyone's got a capital letter, which can be handy. And then the last we have on the case, we've got this one called toggle Case. So depending on what it's set to over here, it just shows every, uh, first letter being small case and Peg. Now, if I had to click this, we'll get exactly the same result. But that's only because I had a set to title. So if I had to, for instance, go case uppercase, everything's uppercase. Go case. I mean, sorry text case. And then we go here to toggle case. Now everything will become small letters. So this will, uh, directly just invert whatever is case or upper case, Lower case and lower case to upper case. Now, let's quickly look at that problem we had earlier. So we go to case and then we make this title. So now, as you can see, all these ones are am.co dot Z a where the top one is nice. I like that. It' softwaretraining.co.za. I think we showed it on the one where it's sentenced. But I wanna use it on this one. So we've got softwaretraining.co.za. Everyone's uppercase, but at the bottom here, we want all of them uppercase. And this is where we head into our text tool. I'm simply gonna select this. Then I'm gonna select this am.co dot Z a text, then we go to text. And then, um, from the drop down menu, we obviously go to case again, and then we select the one we want. So I want everything uppercase. Select that. And now you can see it has transformed our bottom one all to uppercase. So now we have a nice design year softwaretraining.co.za. And then it emphasises the actual URL, which you wanna do. Put the focus on that, uh, am.co dot Z A. But yeah, otherwise, that is on case, very handy tool. So you don't have to manually go and adjusted. Obviously, it could still change, depending on if you want unique things like perhaps training the A or must be bigger or something in that line, I think. Can somebody just select that change your case or if it's few up you can just manually do it yourself. Yeah, otherwise that is it on the case. If we in the meanwhile head here to softwaretraining.co.za. co dot Z a You guys on notice, we've got a variety of different Softwares we do cover. And you can also isolate you searching on top or right. If you do not find the training videos you're looking for, just simply go. Yeah, request the training video, fill in the MI form and then we'll do our best to try and make that for you. But otherwise thanks, guys, for watching and cheers.
