CorelDraw RouterCAM 3D Visualization Overview (Part 8), Step by Step Video Tutorial
coreldraw routercam 3d visualization
RouterCAM has a great feature that allows you to first preview your jobs in 3D before committing the final job.
This is a great tool that you can use when you would like to refine the design without having to do multiple test cuts first.
This video is part of a Mini-Series.
Next video covers 3D Vis Navigation.
Previous video covered RouterCAM Drilling.

How are you guys in today's video? We're gonna have a quick overview of router camps, three d visualisation, um, feature. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. Okay, so today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za z. We make sure that easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have the idea updates. Otherwise, if we're back in the programme, Yeah, Um, yeah. So just to remind also, this is a miniseries on camp features, and today we're gonna have a quick overview of the three d visualisation option it has, and then we'll also in the future better go into how to actually use it. But yeah, when it comes to this really visualised visualisation. This is a very handy little feature of the plug, because what this allows you to do is you can actually preview your cuts and drills and all of that beforehand before you actually commit your job, which is very handy. I mean, I'm quite impressed that they managed to bring a three D element into a two d programme, and, uh, it is very convenient for yeah, this type of work flow. So it supports all the different nodes and path tools. So to laser cutting, drilling, all of that. And also, like I mentioned, it supports notes. So you can actually enable your notes. Then you can see exactly. Okay, what's it gonna do? But let's have a quick setup of this. And then in the next video will, uh, look at the actual three D navigation. So what I wanna do is I'm gonna grab these little circles, and then let's go to two parts. I'm just gonna leave my work piece the same, and I'm gonna put this very wrong, but I'm gonna drill these holes set the to the widest damage I've got there currently the final death. I'm gonna go minus four for now. Just so you guys can see the result. I'm gonna leave all the rest the same. Okay, The next thing on the inside here, what I wanna do is I'm gonna pocket Millis or Muller inside away deaths. I'm gonna keep minus two the rest all the same. Obviously, in a real project, you really wanna rename your things If the project, it's big. So you understand what's happening, and I'm gonna grab edge here and I'm so I'm gonna just go. So I'm going to like cutting for laser plasma water and the same thing. I'm going to leave all these settings the same. So now as you can see here, under our two paths, we've got our three different operations set up, and then we can minus out bad. So now, um, in order to actually visualise it here, we're gonna first have to create a actual path or G code. I'm not sure if you have to have your things selected. I normally just select what I want, Dakota. But it must probably only G codes, Whatever's in this list, it's just, uh, paranoid habit I have from different programmes. So I'm just gonna click here g one g two and then give it time to process, and then we can see here. Now, on this little three d visual port, we have a three d representation. Now under this thing, there's a few different options where we're looking at. But we will leave that for another video. So just quick summary again. This is a great tool. If you want to visualise what's gonna happen during the cutting process before you actually commit, so you can see these potential problems. Maybe you're drilling is too deep or something like that, and you can adjust it first and then preview it before you commit. And this is also independent from actual machine. So the cutting machines this is something that's just in the plug in. So you don't have to worry about at the summer translating it into your machine as But, yeah, otherwise, before we get to the next video, if we get to softwaretraining.co.za. You guys will notice we've got a variety of different Softwares. We recover, and you can also isolate your search on the top, right? If you do not, however, find the training videos you're looking forward to some bigger yeah, requested training, video filling the mini form. And then we'll do our best to try and make that for you. But otherwise, thanks guys for watching until next one. Cheers
