VinylCut 5 Software Save and Export PLT Files for Vinyl Cutters, Step by Step Video

The PLT file format were originally developed for HP plotters (HPGL language), and are usually used directly on the plotter or cutter.

They are also most commonly used by cutters outside of the hobby world.

do it. How do you guys? Today's video? We'll be looking at how to save files as plt file format. Uh, let's just have a quick intro first. Mhm So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. Now, the plt file formats of files quite popular in, um like, uh, if you're gonna using, like, a more industrial type machines where it's not so popular in the hobby world. So in any case, so then there's two ways we can go about this. Uh, if you're a designer, you can always go to file, and then you go to export, and then under the service type, you'll be selecting the h p g l plotter. But in this video will not be covering that will be actually going to Qatar. You select that icon and then, uh, just keep in mind, this is relevant to the type of cardio machine you're using. So make sure under the model here, we want to select the whichever colour using. I'll be using the be serious we 3 60 That way we know the output settings is right. When you finally saved the file and then this is also is a great format if you're going to be a because most of the A M machines do work offline so you can kind of put this on a flash drive plugging in the machine. And then, uh okay, So now, after you've selected that, then what you can do is you go to the bottom Here you go safe to fire, then on top you want to choose your destination, and then it might desktop for now and then your file name thinking that in and you can add registration marks if you want to or not. We were done a lab. You just click safe and then file has been saved. And then if you navigate your desktop, you'll find your file simple as that.
