CorelDraw RouterCAM Pocket Milling Process Example (Part 2), Step by Step Video Tutorial

routercam pocket milling process example

When it comes to the different milling tools, the settings and options available are very similar to each other.

That being said, the way in which you use those settings might differ from tool to tool.

Hi there, guys. In today's video, in route to camp, we're gonna be looking at how to do a basic process for your pocket milling. And yeah, but before that, let's have a quick intro first. Mm mm. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za We make sure and easy to watch problem solving videos. And we also have daily updates. Otherwise, back in the programme here. Now, just a quick reminder. This is a miniseries on the right to claim examples where we'll be going through a few different two paths processes to just show you the basic example of how it could look like when doing those now we already looked at Contour milling. Now we're gonna be looking at pocket milling. Now, most of these processes will work different, but there's a few different variations you might wanna do, depending on the path and also keep in mind. You can combine most of these so that yeah, for bigger projects, you could, um, have a few different settings. Maybe we'll look at it then, but I'm not sure yet. So now, first of all, like in most projects, you want to make sure everything is in order. We've got these graphics all grouped as one layer because I'm gonna use the same pocket milling for baby. Then you also wanna obviously make sure your settings are right on the N C output that your output parts of fine So you can actually find the file and copy it onto your machine. Then if you're running with network and that you might be able to set up just a part like that, otherwise just copy that your flash drive put on your machine and then it's ready to go. Then you want to make sure your project or your works piece is set up. So you've got the right dimensions, then your origin point where mine's already said to the bottom left this opposite depends on your machine set up and so forth, which we covered in the previous video. Then if I minus that out, are we gonna be looking at pocket milling? So I'm gonna select the graphics that we wanna actually mo click on that. And now we can see we've got a little preview going here of the pocket. Millie. So if I had to, like consuming here while I'm in this area. But yeah, we can kind of see the amount of lines is going to be taking and then also the tool size. So I will make this one. Maybe about 2 to 3. It's got to because of the small star. Okay, show to all the amateur. Now, we can kind of see what's happening there on the corners. Okay? Yeah. And come back in, Which is you mean a bit. So as we can see here, the corners are struggling a bit. So then what? I'll do, edit. And then I'm gonna set the tour even smaller. So we're gonna try fit into those ages a bit better when I leave it on, climb a pocket allowance? Um, I don't think it's necessary to say that. Yeah, unless you wanted to get, like, just on the inside. But you could, but I'm gonna get mine. Zero. Because I like the size of the stars or where they're located already. Safety height. Once again, if you have something like clamps, something holding your piece down, then, uh, this can get important, but yeah, I'm gonna leave most of these settings plunge and all of that the same final depth, also minus two. And then this one. We can stay down because we don't need it to clean. Say okay. And then once again, it would be a good naming this properly. I just called my pocket one, because only because I am only doing one, uh, form of millionaire. If I had multiple things, I would definitely wanna start naming. Then let's go to the G one g to run the process. Wait for it. It's gonna take awhile, depending on the amount of information Um, you are looking at and then Yeah. So I was taking quite a lot. That's what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna pose it. And then we resumed once it is ready. Yeah, this thing is just about done. Now, once it's done, we've got a nice little TV of the garage, and now it's gonna look as we can see it. It's nice, clean. Obviously you can decide, for instance, to engraved different depths for each individual ones if you wanted to do that, but I figured I'll just keep it simple. Then what you wanna do is obviously you can't go show G code if you want a preview. Make sure everything is in order before you send it or we click Saviour and then you just call it. I'm just gonna go. He I am for pocket million. Say that. Put it on the machine and then the rest of the process will be happening there. So, yeah, it's rather simple. Like I said, most of these examples is gonna be very similar, except for maybe drilling and so forth. But there's one or two settings that might change between the ones. Otherwise, we had year to softwaretraining.co.za Seattle. Today you guys will notice we've got a variety of different Softwares we do cover, and you can also isolate your search on the top of right. If you do not, however, find a training videos you're looking forward to simply go your request, a training video filling the uniform, and then we'll do our best to try and make that for you. But otherwise thanks guys for watching and chips
