The Drilling Toolpath unlike the other Toolpaths have fewer settings and options to choose from to use on jobs.

Even though this Toolpath has fewer settings to choose from, it also comes with a few settings unique to Drilling only.

Hi guys. In today's video, we're gonna be looking at a sample or example we could be using when drilling. And this will be in coral draw with the right camp plugging. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. Mm mm. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. We make sure we need to watch problem solving videos. We also have daily updates. Otherwise, back in the programme here. Now, just a quick reminder. This is a miniseries on the camp. Two parts examples of what we could take when using the CNC process. So very looked at the first two. Now we're going to be looking at drilling and yeah, uh, process rather simple, but there's a few things to keep in mind when using it. So now I've already set the outside cut for the border. So now, to do the drill, I'm gonna select that we're not going to cover the settings of that because we've already done in the first few videos or the workspace or work piece. So now what we're gonna do is with our drill areas selected or drill holes, we're gonna click drilling and then keep in mind this is going to drill it exactly in the middle of those areas, so it doesn't mean it's going to show the same size as your circles. The size is going to be determined by our tool on top on the left. Now, let's say, for instance, formal is still too small for you and your machine can go bigger. Then what you can do is you click on this little open tool list and then you go and add another tool. You can name it and set the size and so forth. So there is something to keep in mind when it comes to drilling. But let's go back to drilling. So I'm gonna call this drilling so we know what it is. My make it the largest. And then let's out. Yeah, I might want to make sure this is maybe minus three. Just as properly through don't have to, but I'm going to do it for my So then, um and obviously we've got these three settings which were covered in depth, whether we wanted to just go one go through, depending obviously, on your size of your material or thickness then we've got a return to plunge height, which would be this one or return to previous cutting plate. Now I'm presuming I'm working with something quite lightweight, so I'll just go no return, so I'm cutting it. One. Go right through. Then I said, Okay, and now So thank you for your mind. Let's say your drills are too small and you cannot, uh, put a bigger drill. And what you can always do is you make little circles. It's the right day, amateur for it. Let's say it's a six million or seven more hole you need to draw. Make these circles to the right amateur, and you just make them cut marks instead. So then you won't be using the drilling feature, but you'll be using the cutting and yeah, and then you'll be basically cutting out your holes for your whatever you needed for screws or Dell sticks or something like that. So that is around where you can go about it. But otherwise, if you have all the tools set out, the drilling is very simple to use. Then, obviously, once we're done with that, we can just simply click a G one g two people create a preview for us can view if you want to see what is what and how is it happening also your tool direction and then, yeah, then we can go save it. You know, it's previous if you want to, but we're just gonna save it here. I'm gonna call it the Ford Grille and then that is it. Things really get on the machine, and then you can run the process.
