Okay, guys, in today's video, we're gonna be looking at the enable Prefect zero option that's located under your text to. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. Mm, yeah. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za z. We make sure he needs to watch problem solving videos and we also have daily updates otherwise, back in the programme here. Now, just a quick reminder that once again, this is a miniseries on the text tool and, well, basic covering the serial number in a which is under your variable text. I will also leave relevant links in the description so you guys can actually follow along now when it comes to the enable Prefect zero. In short, What this will do is if your serial number has zeroes in front of it, it will remove it when it actually does the cutting. So it will show just the number, not zero, even though the zeros are actually in essence. Still, there has a placeholder. Now, in order to do this, we want to go to our selection tool, select our serial number double click it go into the text editor, then under our very world text with being enabled under Cyril Leno. We want to go to extend right at the bottom and then you'll see we've got this enable Prefect zero. Now, if we disable this, that will remove the zero. So just keep that in mind. So enable Prefect zero means or keep the zeros there. Move that will remove. This here is now if I click. Ok, let's change the current serial numbers or something so we can see Make that one and then say click apply so we can see the update. Okay, we can see it here in the lower windows. Wants to say Okay, I will be doing in the year. So now you guys can see that it looks the same as the top sample here, we've got s t one g t a. We open this under the current. It still has the three zeroes in front of it. Now you might think yourself well, I can simply just go to the start one and, uh, set this to one and yeah, it will do. That will be 1234 all the way to nine and then we'll go back to 01234 Because it only has one place holder. So if we had to remove, that will be only one place all the time. Can never go to 10, 11 and so forth. And that is why we leave these, um, placeholders. So we can. Like I mentioned going up to 9999 different variations or serial numbers, but it's only showing the serial number without the zeros. So if you prefer that look, you can always do that. So that is once again under your I mean, variable text. We go extend, and then we disable this feature. I'm gonna leave my on for now. Click OK, and then apply one Clear. Okay. You will see what I see on the back. So yeah, that is pretty much what enable Prefect zero does. So in short, uh, with it enabled, you will be able to see all your placeholder zeros, but they're disabled. Any zeros? Um uh 30 prefix. All the prisoners to your number will be invisible. Well, yeah, that covers that, uh, the enable prefects option. We had to go to the website softwaretraining.co.za C zero guys will notice. We've got a variety of different Softwares. We recover. And also you can isolate your search on the top, right? If you do not, however, find the training videos you're looking forward to simply go here, request the training video filling in uniform, and then we'll do our best to try and make that video for you. But otherwise thanks guys for watching and cheers.
