TruCUT RDWorks the Cut Inside and Cut Outside (Part 9) Cut In Cut Out Mini-Series

When it comes to setting the Inside or Outside of Cuts, this is by far the fastest way to set that.

You can also do it with the draw option as you saw in a previous video, but that way was a bit of around way of going about setting it.

All right, guys, in today's video, we're gonna be looking at another method we can take to set your cut in and cut out the inside or the outside of the shape. But before that, let's have a quick intro first, so today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. We made short and easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates otherwise back in the programme. Yeah, now, just a quick reminder that these ministers on the cutting and cut out feature and I will also put relevant links in description. So we can, um as you guys can follow along now, like I showed in the previous video or one of them. If we had to go to a view and we go to cut in and cut out bar, we had to enable this. Then you can set the cut inside and cut outside using the drawer, too. Now, there is another way to go about it. But it is good to know that, um, you first need to disable these settings. Otherwise, it can get quite confusing in the beginning is to leave those settings on And then I thought this feature was a bit broken. So upon playing with it more, I discovered what the problem was. And now it makes a bit more sense. I figured I'll make you guys a video on this because this is definitely a quicker way to set your inside cutting or outside cutting, then using your draw, Um two. So then, to do that, what we want to do like I mentioned, make sure your shape is selected. We go to the cut in and cut out and make sure that the bottom here, these settings are disabled. So with our top setting set, the way we like it for our cut in and cut out, we can simply say Okay, cancel if it's already been set, and then you can go here to your first one cut in, cut and went out. Cut. Now, in the beginning, I used to think this is for the in cut and the outcome, but this is for the inside or the outside in Cairo, inside your shape, obviously an out cut outside your shape so you can simply change it that quickly. So, yeah, that was quite a happy discovery to make. In my opinion, this will save me way more time. They had to manually go draw there. The feature in now I can use my draught board more for the way it was. I guess I'm designed and that is add custom lines. But yeah, otherwise, um, if we are to say, rather that is it on features are just a quick recap. Make sure your bottom settings are disabled and then you can go here with your draw, draw in and draw out cutting and cut out by enable to it on the view, cutting cut out. And then we can set yet outside the shape or inside the shape. But otherwise, yeah, that is it on the cut out or cut in and cut out feature.
