How are you guys in today's video? Flexi starter. We're gonna be looking at grouping and regrouping objects. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. Yes. Yeah, probably so. Today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. Uh, we make short and easy to watch problem problem videos, and we also have daily updates. It was back in the programme here. Now, this is gonna be a little two part series on grouping and regrouping, so I will leave relevant links and description so you guys can actually follow a lot. So now when it comes to grouping objects, this is great. If you've created, like, let's say, perhaps a logo or something like that and it's a complex design and you don't want to move individual parts the whole time anymore by a kind of a stage where you want it, as one entity can just about see, So then we can do is you can group your objects, and then when you move them, rotate them scallops. It will see it as one object, so not easily gonna reposition the layout and so forth of it. So what we can do and also to add it is non destructive, so you can easily, um, group it edit again and so forth. So now, in order for a group being to work, we're gonna need more than one object selected. This can work on multiple objects, but I'll just be showing you, too. We drag a selection box over that, and so we have both selected at the moment, just so you can see there are individual shapes. So I select there. Then the first way we can do this, we go to arrange main menu on top group and then group again and you'll see the shorter first Control G if we select that and you select, select, even see it sees it as one units. So if I scale us, skills it together the same way, if I want to rotate this, also do all of that together. Now you can still edit it individually without even group it, and you can just swap to your select within two. Also on your main main, you click on the law and Pharaoh Mouse closer. Keep your left mouse was in, and then we'll pop up this option. Just select with ends, and now you can select object within the group headed like that, Select out of it and then it will reset. Let's say you want to do quite a lot of changes, and I don't want to swap between two different options for selecting a selection within. Ignore. Select your object that's grouped. Then we go to arrange on top. We go to group again and we go on group. You can see the traffic control. You select that, and then now it's about to individual shapes again. Another way you can go about grouping. You can always select your options. You wanna group, then you right click navigate down to the bottom till we find Combine combined. And then we got groups and you'll see now if we have to right click on these two selected objects, we don't have to go there again. And just we've got group or one group or so in the next video, we'll be looking at grouping all. So yeah, that is the basics on grouping. And it's a It's a very great feature, especially if you're working on more complex designs. And this kind of more finalised can also have groups within groups which we'll cover in the next. Otherwise, yeah, if we had here to softwaretraining.co.za c zero. You guys will notice we've got a variety of different Softwares we do cover. Also, you can isolate your search on the top variety. If you're looking for anything specific, If you do not, however, find what you're looking for, You always go here because the training video and then, yeah, we'll make that video for you. Otherwise, thanks, guys, for watching and cheers.
