Alright, guys, In today's video, we're gonna be looking at our main tool bars features and we're gonna be looking at copy, cut and paste. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. co dot Z A. We make sure and easy to watch problem solving videos and we also have daily updates. I've went back to the programme here. I mention this is part of our mini series on the main tuba on top here and today we're gonna be looking at the, uh, copy cut and paste from this TOBA. Now, I'm just gonna show you the basic quick let's create a basic shape. Maybe just a rectangle. Then once I have this selected, you'll see these two options become available and the pace will only be available if you have something in your actual, um, clipboard that has been copied. So I have something already, but, um, normally, this will also be greyed out. So if I select off this design, you'll see they're all greyed out. As soon as I select it, it gives me the option for the cut and copy. Now, these options can also be found on the your, uh, edit menu on top. So if you go on your main menu, you go edit and you'll see we have here Cut, copy, paste, cut paste over as well and paste Special. But we won't be covering those right now. And as you can see, the short cuts control X control C and control V. This is quite universal throughout programmes, so there's a good, shorter keys to get familiar with. Now, if I have this selected, I can either click this icon for a copy one with the two papers or the one with the scissor for cut. So I'm gonna click copy, then click paste, and then you'll see it prompts us this new, uh, option where we wanna paste it so I can just click anywhere and it will paste this that for us. Now cut. On the other hand, it's gonna remove that one, and then when I click paste, it will ask us where we want to put it and put it there. So it's like a nice way of, uh, yeah, removing it and adding it somewhere else. Now, the copy and paste is very handy if you have more complex designs. So let's say I'm gonna quickly go here am.co dot Z a. Let me scale this up a bit. Maybe change the colour. Now, this design can be quite complex, but I'm just gonna go for something quite simple. Let's make a nice rectangle over this, and then I'm gonna go and just send this to the back and then maybe change his colour so we'll just make it black. So now what we can do is we can copy this entire thing and that saves us a lot of time, so we don't have to remake it. So I'm just gonna group this a combine group. Now it's gonna see it as one single object, but with multiple objects inside. So there I'm gonna hit control C on a shortcut, Control V and paste it. Now you can see we can quickly make copies of this. So it saves us a lot of time on the actual workflow as to having to remake this every single time. Now, the beauty of copying and pasting is that you can, for instance, let's go into this one. I'm gonna change my selection to and you can actually delete that. And it doesn't affect the others because we've made a copy of it. So if you wanna try, um, maybe different variations. This is great. I normally do with my logo designs. Design a logo. Then I'll make a copy of it. Do variations. And I can compare the two to, uh, see which one I prefer, but yeah, once again, that is Copy cut and paste. Very handy tools. You use it often throughout many different programmes. And, uh, they really revolutionise the digital industry. You can say by being able to, um, speed up the workflow, but yeah, otherwise, before we head on to the next video, if we head here to softwaretraining.co.za. co dot Z a. You guys will notice we've got a variety of different Softwares we do cover. And you can also isolate your search on the top, right? If you do not, however, find the training videos you're looking for, just simply go. Yeah, request a training video, fill in the mini form, and then we'll do our best to try and make that for you. But otherwise thanks, guys, for watching and cheers
