Alright guys, In today's video, we're going to be looking at the blend effect with in flexi print. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. co dot Z A. We make short and easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates. Now, if we head into the programme here. So like I mentioned, we're gonna be looking at the blend effect. So I'm just gonna be removing these and add some shapes here. So now and what it comes down to with a blend effect, we can actually, uh, blend from one shape to another shape. So this could be anything. Let's, uh, be a little bit more creative. Maybe make some slightly abstract star just because, uh, when I don't want to go into too much depth on trying to make a nice star, we'll call this an abstract one. So there we go. We've got some nice track star got a rectangle or a cube. Let's just change the colour from this or, uh, let's make it two more extreme colours. So let's grab these two. I just wanna scale them down a little bit. So we have some space between them. And pretty much what this effect is gonna do is it's gonna blend these two shapes and create new shapes around their shapes and their colour. So this is very handy to get some very unique shapes. Or, uh uh, I gonna say a more better version of another one. So maybe you've got a square, but you want rounder corners, and then you can always add a circle on the other side, do a blend and then get like a nice balance, depending on how many blend, um, levels you took. So now, in order to do that, I'm gonna select these two shapes. Then we're gonna go on top to our effects and then to blend. Now, when I click this, you can see on the right, we've got steps. And so as I increase this, we're gonna get more and more variations between these different shapes. So let's just grab a few so we can see a few different shapes there. Then I'm gonna say the little right Mark and this will confirm it. And then, as you can see there, we've got a rectangle slowly, uh, transforming into that wax star created. So, like I said, very handy. I find myself playing with this tool quite a lot because it's just it's quite uh yeah, it's quite stimulating on the census. So then, But like I said, obviously don't choose it just for fun. You can use this for a more creative process. So if you have to get a balance between colours or, um shapes, you can use this even if it's just as a sample, you can maybe, uh, get a nice balance between those. So once again, just a quick recap. Make sure you've got your two different shapes. You select them, you go to effects, Click blend, and then it will give you the option of how many steps you wanna go between those shapes. But yeah, otherwise very fun tool. But in the meanwhile, though, if we head here to softwaretraining.co.za. co dot Z a. You guys on the tours we've got a variety of different Softwares we do cover, and you can also isolate your search on the top or right. If you do not, however, find the training videos you're looking for, just simply go Yeah, request the training video, fill in the mini form. And then we'll do our best to try and make that for you. But otherwise thanks, guys, for watching and cheers.
