VinylCut 5 Software How to Pierce Shapes for Embroidery Patterns, Step by Step Video

When it comes to the Pierce feature in VinylCut 5, It is mostly used for embroidery type pattern designs.

The Pierce feature can be quite tricky to have it setup just right, as it is one of those features that could do with a few more setting for fine tuning.

Alright, guys, In today's video final cut, we're gonna be looking at making some embroidery patterns with a pierce effect before that. Let's have a quick intro first. Okay, so today is we're going to find a softwaretraining.co.za. Today, you guys will notice We've got a variety of different Softwares we do cover. Like I said, it's useful embroidery patterns. Mostly. I'm sure there's other purposes for it as well, but, uh, yeah, otherwise it can be sometimes quite tricky, setting it up as the function of my opinion is not too refined. Yet the Rhinestones has got a better approach. Maybe in the future, they update this. So in any case, so what you want to do is you want to select your shape. It could be whatever shape you can imagine. If you want to embroider all the sides or something like that and it will be a great one, then what you wanna do is with your shape selected, we go to effects and you want to navigate till we find MPs. Then from this also, once again, there's no order update preview. So you have to kind of every time you make a change, you can manually go there and got your preview right now, it's, uh, said 2.5 inches. So if we said previous, you can see you can hardly see the little piece marks. So let's set the spacing start off with maybe, but one. So that's 0.1. Should I say a preview? Um, yeah, we're not quite there yet, so let me try 0.3 preview. You know, we can see we've got something going here. Just make sure all the points are on the corners. It looks good. Like if these points are off, not on the corner. You can always start adjusting even smaller decibels here. Damn. So you find something you like, and then once you click OK, then you. Yeah, we've got your pierced effect. Now if I zoom in Yeah, you can see that at the moment. Previous shows law access. I remember when it cut, it actually cuts it plus, but it might have been updated by now and Then let's say you wanna remove this effects. Unfortunately, cannot edit it after you've done it, but you can still remove it. So in order to do that you have your shape selected. You want to go to sorry object and you want to look for the bottom. Here, remove a fix. Sorry, My bad. Let's try it again. Object. Remove effects and it just remove the effect for you. So if you didn't like the effect or the result you got from the effect, you know, it's just remove it. If you actually kicked, okay and then just go fix again and pierce and then you readjust or you find something you like. Otherwise, that is it.
