Google Maps Combine the Two Pre-Recorded Videos (Part 5) Zoom in Video Mini-Series

When it comes to the combining of the two videos, we will have to use a video editor for that.

There are a few different free video editors out there, but for our need we only have to use something very simple, so we’ll be looking at an in-house tool.

Video Transcript

Alright, guys. In today's video, we're gonna be looking at how to join the two videos recorded in Google Maps for your company's location. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. MM, so today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. We make sure that easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have the updates otherwise, back to the dew tour earlier. Now, when it comes to joining the two videos, we're always gonna need some form of video editor. Now there's many free ones out there that you can use. But in my personal opinion, I would say for this type of video, we can easily just go with a built in one that comes with Windows. A simple lightweight and the user interface is not to complicate. So I'm just gonna close you and reopen it so you can see where it's located. So you want to click on your start bar, and then you can simply type in the video and then mine already shows editor there. If it doesn't, you can just go space and type editor. Open this, then you will notice. Already have the project twice for testing. But for your I'm like we got here to the new video project. Click that wait for it to load. And it's gonna give us a project named after its downloading. Now, just typing you. I'm gonna call this Google Maps, uh, project and then click. OK, now, what we wanna do is locate the videos. Now, I've used two different videos, not the ones we recorded in this training video, seeing that my software made it not as smooth. So I prefer showing you something that's got a smooth transition. So in order to do that, we go here to our project library or seems a little add button click that go from this PC from the drop down menu, and then you want to navigate to your assets where your stuff is installed or where your videos are located. So I'm gonna select one and keep controlling to select two as well. So nobody these are selected. Okay, open. And this will load it to my video library or project library. Then what I wanna do is simply just drag and drop with my left mouse button keeping in starting with the video one onto storyboard one and video to unstoppable, too. Now, with these two videos selected, I can go to the back here and play to see everything is fine. Could assuming that and then mm transition to the next video? These two are not too well lined up. As you can see, there's a bit of a jump between the two, but this is quite a nice zoom in which I really like. Now, if for some reason let's say your videos too long, maybe the pause between them or something, and what you can also do is you simply just trimmer. So with a video you have selected or you want to trim, you can either right click and go to trim or click on this trim button over a year. Then, over here, you can pull in the, um, this trim for the beginning and the end. So if you're beginning or your hand or both is too long, then you can simply just trimble, so you can always do this one. If you want this transition, you can preview again, and then we see there's a nice quick transition done, and now, if we had to play this back with that transition, the second video will be way quicker to its transition. But otherwise, yeah, that is how you can trim them. And then the last thing you wanna do is we want to export. This is the final video, but we were covering that in another tutorial, saying that this video is running a little long. But otherwise that is it how you join your videos. So now we've recorded the role, we've reversed the club and now we've imported them into a new project. Then, yeah, it leaves us with one final step.
