Hi guys in today's video flexi starter, we're gonna be looking at the weed lines. Um they can be found under the options tab for the current board feature. But before that, let's have a quick intro first, Okay? Mm. Mhm. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za z day. We make sure that easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates. Otherwise, back in the programme here now I'm yeah, this feature the weeding in general what you'll use it for. Let's say we made a print of this or a vinyl when we stuck it down, and then we want to take all the extra vinyl off because obviously it's my cut lines here. But if you pull it off at one go, we might pull off some of these letters, and we have to try to really stick them. So the weeding makes it simple, so you can put extra cut lines so you can peel off the waste in smaller portions so you don't have to peel off all this weight and one go, so that is basically where the weed lines comes in. So in order to do that. We want to go to our card and plot feature. You may find you under standard toolbar. You'll see control l to open it. Then under the settings, we're gonna go to the options tab, which is the third tab, and then you will see we've got here we'd lines and a few different options. Now, um, this will obviously vary depending on what type of job you have selected. So, for instance, where the first option here, we've got weed border. So if we are to zoom in here, we can see that. I mean, this border is just on the text so we can go. We'd border and then we put a panel margin. We can increase this and then you can see there at the bottom. It has just increased our border around. She's quite nice, but like I mentioned, this will vary depending on the job style. So if we go separate panel separate jobs, then each individual panel now would have that extra weeding around the the actual design or actual shape it's selected. It's going to keep my mind on the standard one for now. The single panel single job the next up. We've got some weeding lines and horizontal waiting lines. Vertical waiting lines. So what this will do? It will look for a gap that we you can find right through the design without it interacting with another shape. If I go horizontal, we can see yellow zooming. You guys can see it. Put a weeding line right between these. So now when we they want to stick these vinyls, we can simply tear out this entire piece without having to tear the entire white piece. So, like it makes your life easier. So you can obviously do horizontal and vertical ones. You can just drag him out like that. Now what we also have on the right here. We've got horizontal split lines and vertical split lines. Now what this will do, it will actually go through the design. But not sure. I said go up to the design, but not through it. So now you can see when we peel this piece off, it's gonna go around this because obviously this will be cut lines as well. So I haven't gotten these shapes and that ready for cutting. But if we did, then obviously these shapes will be one shape. So now when you peel this awful go around, heat this cut line and then go around the shape. So that is, um, when you have more complex designs on that, it's just gonna be quite handy. The split lines. Obviously you've got vertical and horizontal. As you can see, you will still stick. This is one big panel or vinyl. And then these are the white ones. You can now just simply drag off, which is quite convenient. Then we've got under that. We've got the easy we'd. Now I don't see any updates. When I work around with these, I can kind of imagine what it should be doing. But I didn't see the effects. So what I'll do is I'll kind of just read you guys what I found online, what they say about it, and that is the easy. We'd cuts a week border within a specified winning margin, which will be this margin around each object in your design. So I'm guessing this is like a kind of a quick way of, uh, also doing some of these options if I had to guess. But like I said, I don't see any live updates in the preview. So that is kind of what they say about it. But otherwise that is it on weeding if we had to eat here to softwaretraining.co.za Uh, guys, we've got a variety of different Softwares we do cover. And also you can isolate the search on the top, right? If you do not, however, find what you're looking forward just to hear, request a training video. Then we will make that video for you. But otherwise thanks, guys, for watching and cheers.
