Like most programs the file dropdown menu under the main menu will be where you find most of the important features.
This is a great place to be able to save your projects, as well as adding and opening new Job files for cutting and plotting.

All right, guys, in today's video flexi starter, we're gonna be looking at the main menu for the production manager. But before that, let's have a quick intro first, uh, so today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. We make sure that easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates otherwise, back in the programme here. So now just a quick reminder. This season means serious on the production manager and I will also leave relevant links and description so you guys can actually follow it along in order to look at the main menu first, open it which I'm just gonna or you can just simply click on your current plot feature or navigate through your start bar and go to where the programmes installed. Mine is already open, so I'm gonna navigate their now. The main menu can be fine on top here, like in most programmes. And as you can see, we've got five drop down menus we can choose from, so number one is filed and then, um you can see we've got a few different options here, but most of them are great out we'll cover soon. Why, that is, but otherwise the first option here. We've got ad job. So if you've got any job saved which will be covering soon, located here and add it. So if you set up a job but you don't want to do it now, you can do it another time or sent to a client. Then you can just add it from here. Then, in order to access or be able to use these settings, you need to first select your job. So we'll see. If you select anything under your setup area, nothing will happen under your menu. It will still be great. You need to go to a job is like that job. Now, if we click here, we can see. Um, all these options are available, so we've got to move jobs so this you can move it to another printer If you wanted to. As you can see there, we've got the test when we created. So this is a very handy feature if your backs and they send it to the wrong time, the wrong colour, and then we've got your job properties so you can right click, and you can see the actual properties of the current job. It's set up. Most of these settings are similar to what we've already covered in the current plot miniseries. Then next, we've got safe setup to say I'm, uh, safe as we just to save your job. So this is where you can now, like I mentioned earlier, you can navigate save your job, too, and name it whatever you want. It's only it's actually two formats that we've got a job and the plt. What you do is then you've saved it so you can do it at another stage. Or what you can do is you send it to a client. Then, um, they can simply just open your job, and all your settings should be right, so they can just print it from there. Then next up on the farm menu year, we've got, um, send. So then, uh, sending. They will basically just, um, when your status on hold mine is currently not connected. But then it will be the equivalent of clicking the send button on human to bar so you can do that from your file as well. And then, obviously, if it's going, you can afford it here as well. Same as on your tube. Then we could show me an exit. So this will obviously keep in mind this exit your production manager so you'll have to reopen it. Otherwise, that is it. On the file under the main menu. We had to head here to softwaretraining.co.za he other day. You guys don't notice. You've got a variety of ways to do cover. And also you can isolate your search on top of right. If you do not, however, find the video looking forward just to hear requests. A training video. Then we will make that video for you. But otherwise things guys watching and chills.
