FabriCAM Software the CAD Tangent Lines and Arcs (Part 1) Step by Step Video Tutorial

fabricam cad tangent lines arcs
In the CAD feature we will be looking using the Tangent tool combined with Lines and Arcs.
This video is part of a Mini-Series that covers the Tangent tool and its options for the Computer Aided Designs.
Next video covers CAD Tangent – Practical.

All right, guys, In today's video, we're gonna be looking at how to create a tangent between the line and Arc. And this will be for the cat feature. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za z. We make sure it's easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates. Otherwise, we head into the programme. Like I mentioned today, we're gonna be looking at some tangent lines, especially between a curve and a line, or are kind of line. So I'm going to a school. Just add are here. I'm gonna make the, um, first point high this time. So I'm gonna go on why? I'm gonna make 100. Well, let's make this 80. And then the bottom point, I'm gonna make 20 from the bottom and then the exes. I'm gonna leave the same. I'm gonna go to option two, though, for my centre point. I'm gonna make this 50 and 50. So 50 up. It's about between those and 50 again. There we go. We've got our arc Now. What I'm gonna do is at the line and Then let's just go. This an ex, I'm gonna go about making about 60 for both of them, and then the why I'm gonna make 100. So we've got a nice little line over here. So now we're gonna quickly be working on a tangent. Let's maybe increases a bit. Just so it's not so on it. So I'm gonna make this 100. 100. There we go. So now what I can do in order to use this feature, I was gonna zoom in so you can see where it's located. Got the two options with a tangent. Select. I'm gonna tell you what it says. Select circle dash arcs and click on the end of them. And then we've got here tangent. Select two interest line and arc or line and circle, dash arc and click on the ends of them. So that is the two options we have. So I'm gonna select the second one. Or should I say first, select two shapes now, then click on the second one. And then what you wanna do is select tangent lines or hot spots are going to select this one, and let's go to the bottom point here. And you see, it creates a nice tangent there between the two points. Now, you can obviously do it to the top as well. So it's gonna just kind of run parallel to the top of the circle. Uh, this is the final hotspot. Uh, I'm sure I did wrong there. Let's try that again. Keep on a tangent. Hotspots and hotspot. Here we go. So, yeah, otherwise, that is it on the tangent line. Pretty simple. You have you both shape selected, and then you just select two hot spots you want to be using, but yeah, otherwise, in the meanwhile, if we had your softwaretraining.co.za hat you guys will notice, we've got a variety of different Softwares we do cover. And you can also isolate your search on the top. Right? If you do not, however, find the training video looking forward, just simply go. Yeah, request the training video well in the morning form. And then we'll do our best to try and make that for you. But otherwise thanks, guys, for watching and cheers
